Facebook founder to visit Nigeria

The founder of Facebook, a social networking website, Mr Mark Zuckerberg, is scheduled to visit Akwa Ibom State in May this year as one of the guest speakers at a youth economic summit organised by the Niger Delta Young Professionals.
The Chairman of Niger Delta Young Professionals, Mr Moses Siasia, dropped this hint on Thursday, when he paid a courtesy visit on the state governor, Chief Godswill Akpabio, at the Governor's Office, Uyo.
Siasia, who is currently attending a two-day retreat in the state, used the occasion to invite Akpabio as a special guest of honour to the summit billed for Uyo, the state capital, between May 28 and 29.
He said the summit is the coming together of young professionals in the Niger Delta to promote entrepreneurship, looking at economic challenges in the states and creating employment for the youths.
The chairman explained that the Niger Delta Young Professionals is made up of young professionals from different backgrounds, tribes and states coming together to tackle the challenges and bring about the desired change in the Niger Delta states.
Siasa further commended Akpabio for transforming the state through infrastructure: good road network, health and education sector.
