Samsung did it again - With an addition to the big screen family the company unveiled a new curved technology , the Galaxy Round.

Instead of bending from top to bottom like LG's concept the Galaxy Round is curved from left to right and is the first to be built with the curved technology.

The LG's curvaceous concept was designed to fit better around your phizzog, but Samsung's design enables users another way of checking your notifications. The company is not a stranger to motion control but it is really making a difference.

Samsung's innovative designers have come up with a system it calls 'Roll Effect' which allows you to check notifications on your sleeping phone.

Simply by tilting your phone sideways you can check your time, date, missed calls and battery as shown bellow.

"The potential benefit of this screen technology isn't quite clear yet, but Samsung is touting a new feature called "Round Interaction," said Sam Byford The Verge reporter.

Though it is not a member of the note 3 the galaxy round looks exactly like the Note 3, down to the leatherette back. It has the same sized 5.7 inch FULL HD screen, 2.3 GHz super 800 processor (internal hardware),3 GB of RAM and 13 MP camera found on the Note 3.

According to C/NET,' There's no word on a launch outside of Samsung's native Korea, with the company's UK reps saying it's only available there.'
