URBAN grooves musician Maskiri (born Alishias Musimbe) and Enock Guni, popularly known in the music industry as Nox, are expected to perform at Club Royal tonight.
The two urban grooves artists will be performing some of their songs from their joint album Best of Both Worlds.
Maskiri this week submitted his two latest videos for the hit songs Tsotsi and Mhondoro from his album Recovery to the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation.
He said the national broadcaster was impressed with the videos and had promised that it would be airing starting this week.
The two videos were shot in Bulawayo and Kadoma following success of the songs on local chats.
"One of the videos Tsotsi was shot in Bulawayo and featured Centerparty, DJ Face and Saneliso Ndebele," revealed Maskiri.
"The video for the song Mhondoro was shot in Kadoma. The videos are also available on YouTube."
The two videos, which can be downloaded on i-Tunes, are of high picture and sound quality and are bound to be popular with television viewers. The local musician revealed that he would be submitting the video to music channels such as Channel O.
"I will be submitting the videos to Channel O, AfroPop and MTV Base next week," he said.
Maskiri, expected to travel to the United Kingdom for a tour with Trevor Dongo and Leonard Mapfumo, said plans for the trip had reached an advanced stage. They are set to leave the country on December 16 soon after the Unity Gala, scheduled to take place in Gokwe South in the Midlands Province.
The three will perform in London and Coventry.
