Concerned Morvo Stationary workers have expressed their concern that the directors at the company are the ones responsible for the death of their work mates due to poverty as a result of being deprived of their salaries for too long.

"We as Marvo workers do here by hold you Marvo directors Miss T Valela, Mr U Mazengeza, Mr M Valela, Miss P Mutarah, Mr S Mashamba, and Mr C Mwete judicial manager, accountable/ responsible of the death of yet another employee at Marvo Stationery," sdaid the concerned workers through a statement.

"It has come to our attention that Mr Maguta who has worked for Marvo for over 25 years took his on life on the 29th of December 2016 in Pumula North, following a series of fights between him and his wife at home emanating from his failure to take care of the family despite him being owed thousands of dollars by the above mentioned people. His fights with wife were published in the press before he committed suicide."

They said ever since the directors decided to conspire and cheat them, the poor Marvo workers since 2011 life has never been the same.

"Some workers have lost their lives, others have watched their loved ones suffering with sickness while they couldn't help them, others have had their marriages breaking down, others live in bushes right now and some are seriously sick. Marvo Stationery shareholders and management have caused untold suffering to its workers for the past six years," said the workers.

"And the death of Marvo workers is very alarming so far more than 15 workers have lost their lives because of sickness related to stress, most of which didn't manage to get proper medication despite the fact that they are owed thousands of Dollars by the above named accomplices. As if that is not enough two workers have committed suicide already. If this is not satanism then there is nothing like satanism."

They said while Marvo workers are wallowing in poverty, living like destitutes.

"The above people's businesses are flourishing they are buying new properties and new cars like nobody's business. As we speak Browns stationery a Marvo sister company which is run by the above, is set to rack in more than $4 Million in just two months December and January, yet workers won't receive a cent out of it despite the fact that the workers are only owed plus or minus $700 000-00 in total," said the workers.

"This is so because in this country we don't have a proper government that cares for its citizens, we are ruled by a mafia, that is greedy and selfish. In a normal country the above equally corrupt individuals would rot in jail. Suspected corruption between the above mentioned individuals, Zimra and the high court in Bulawayo can not be ruled out."

The workers said the rate at which finished goods in the form of stationery being brought into the country by Browns stationery and the above persons is so alarming they wonder if this is being done in a legally manner that is beneficiary to the country as well?

"And the Judicial manager Mr Mwete's continued presence at Marvo as Judicial manager is to us illegal only the Bulawayo High Court knows why he is there?" said the workers.
