Will the war veterans deliver?

A political commentator Vince Musewe has questioned if the war veterans has a capacity to deliver the nation from the dictatorship[p they have been supporting until they themselves were chucked out of the same system.
"From their words our war vets are angry and we told them before that they have been used and history has been manipulated to sideline their contribution to the struggle while those who never fired a shot during the struggle took over," he said.
"The least that Zanu PF should have done was to look after their own. However as we all know power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. Sadly it is them who delivered unbridled power to a corrupt predator cabal and the chickens have come home to roost."
He said it is hoped hope that now they are serious and realise they have been used to prop up a dictator who cares little about their contribution and their welfare.
"They are poor souls with nothing to show for for their suffering like most poor Zimbabweans. Chris Mutsvangwa put it well when he described Zanu PF as: "A vapid and vacuous party political oligarchy that is devoid of history, morals and probity," he said.
"The difference between vapid and vacuous is that vapid is lifeless, dull or banal while vacuous is lacking meaningful content. Now the war vets must walk their talk!"
