THE President of the Movemement for Democratic Change Professor Welshman Ncube and members of his national executive including the vocal and controversial Priscilla Misihayirabwi-Mushonga has rolled out a 'structure stocktaking 'exercise in Bulawayo, party insiders have said.
The intensive exercise, which is meant to check and verify the actual status of party structures in Bulawayo is set to kick off on Saturday and will run through Sunday.
29 political wards have been stated as specific areas of focus.
Official communication has been disseminated to the party structures to stay ready for the audit, which might expose some unworking party cadres.
This comes after the party has through its national organising secretary , Qhubani Moyo declared that all is ready for elections in Matabeleland North and South provinces, with some declared candidates.
The MDC has said it intends to contest in all constituencies nationally despite it being largely viewed as a regional party.
