Sex worker dupes client after all-night service

A 34 year-old Mvurwi commercial sex worker is alleged to have duped a client of his $760 after an all-night sex service.
Guruve Magistrate Artwell Sanyatwe heard that Muchaneta Makaki is alleged to have hooked a Charles Marufu (41) at Dendere Night Club Mvurwi on 19 February and agreed on $10 night service.
After the act Marufu slept and Makaki took advantage of his sleep by unlawfully taking $760 from the complainant's pocket.
Marufu woke up and left only to find out that his money had been stolen when he was in a kombi to Harare, he disembarked and subsequently filed a police report at Mvurwi police station.
A team of CID acted swiftly and arrested the sex worker who admitted to the charge and confessed that she bought property with the money.
She was remanded in custody to 8 March 2018.
