Prisoner with hermaphroditism given community service for stock theft

MUTOKO based convict with both reproductive organs who stole five cows from his grandmother was finally given a community service sentence by Mutoko magistrate Elijah Sibanda.
The convict was giving Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Services (ZPCS) a headache in which holding cell to put him during his remand days.
The magistrate told the court that he could not give him or her a mandatory stock theft sentence due to his or her condition.
Prosecutor Nathan Mujuru told the court that sometime in March convict stole five cows from his or her grandmother's kraal and sold them.
The police managed to arrest the convict after investigations.
In his or her plea of guilty the convict told the court that he sold the loot in a bid to get medical help on his or her condition.
