ORCHESTRA Mberikwazvo's 'problem child' is at it again. The CONTROVERSIAL Peter Kagomera was arrested for 'stealing' a car and has NOT been part of the band's line up after his brush with the law, a a Harare stet controlled tabloid revealed. Kagomera was arrested for 'stealing' a motor vehicle belonging to a friends' aunt last week.

The young man appeared at the Harare Magistrate's court last week where he narrowly escaped the jaws of justice. He was charged for using a motor vehicle without the owner's consent. He was however lucky that the owner of the vehicle decided to withdraw the charges before plea.  It is reported that Peter's friend, Emmanuel Muchawaya, borrowed his aunt's car, saying that he wanted to go and fetch some water in Belvedere but the latter had other plans.

Claims are that Emmanuel then drove all the way to Peter's Chitungwiza residence where they are said to have had a sex orgy with two unidentified ladies in the SAME ROOM! According to credible sources that cannot be named for professional reasons, Emmanuel then went away to get some money after he saw that Peter was still sexually hungry. After Peter finished his 'business' with his mistress, he then took the car and drove away, without Emmanuel's knowledge as he had gone to get more cash to top up as payment the hired and overworked commercial sex-workers.

It seems Peter wanted to show off to some other Chitungwiza girls as he is said to be as good with chasing women as he is on the dance floor. Emmanuel later came back but he found the car and his friend Peter gone. Out of fear he (Emmanuel) went to the Police vehicle theft squad and lodged a report. Investigations later led to Peter's arrest and the recovery of the car. The matter also sucked in his friend Emmanuel as he had been the one who had been given the car by the owner.

When they explained the circumstances surrounding the car's disappearance, they were both charged with the crime of using the vehicle without the owner's consent, it is said. Peter and Emmanuel were then hauled to the magistrates' court but the matter took an interesting twist when Emmanuel's aunt, told authorities that she was withdrawing the charges.

The owner of the car is said to have indicated that she wanted to withdraw charges against her nephew Emmanuel ONLY leaving dancer to face the music alone. The woman is said to have indicated that she wanted her nephew freed as he had asked for the car from her. The prosecution is said to have told her that it was not possible for the charges to be withdrawn against one person as the two were both facing the same charge.

Emmanuel's aunt then signed withdrawal affidavits for both suspects and by authority of Area Public Prosecutor the matter was then withdrawn before plea. After all the necessary documents of withdrawal were completed, the duo walked out of court free men without having entered the dreadful dock. "Haa mupfanha Peter akange angotora mota yandanga ndinayo akutoenda nayo zvake kumashops," Emmanuel told H-Metro soon after they were freed.

(Peter had just taken the car to the shops without my consent.) "But haa zvaabhoo manje, ndiyo nyaya yacho." (However the matter has been resolved) Being a prolific dancer that he is, Peter celebrated his freedom with a victory dance as he walked out of Rotten Row Courts.

However the young dancer is on record for grabbing headlines for all the wrong reasons but this time he had his LORD to thank as 'dark' forces had landed him into trouble. Recently, he was captured on the H-Metro camera on his knees begging Alick Macheso to forgive him for his transgressions, after the Orchestra Mberikwazvo frontman had kicked him out of the band; tired of his shenanigans.
