The Self Exiled Matabeleland Liberation Organisation leader Paul Siwela has question people in Matabelelald as to how long will they be silent when they are always on the receiving end of bad things from the government.

"Fellow Matabeles, while we fight the demon called xenophobia, we should look at ourselves and ask these simple questions, for how long are we going to pretend that we are Zimbabweans, when Zimbabwe does not accommodate us and provide for our hopes and security?" he asked through his facebook post.

"For how long are we going to bow down to Ndebelephobia , gross abuse of our human rights and destruction of our language, identity and culture ? For how long are we going to live in exile and be a burden to other countries and cry xenophobia, yet we have our own Matebeleland state to claim? For how long shall we apologise for being ourselves and see our ambitions destroyed yet denied opportunities in our own land only to allow our resources to benefit our oppressors?"

Siwela said since when has it been an honour to praise and bow down to their oppressors?

"Since when has it been patriotic to respect tyranny, genocidaires and gukurahundist? Remember a bad political decision you make today would negatively affect your future and that of the following generations. They will remain oppressed, poor, dominated, discriminated, frustrated and subjects of ridicule not only in the foreign lands but also in their motherland, Matabeleland," he said.

"Fellow matebeles,a good political decision you make today will result in the breaking of the chains of bondage and unlock the doors to freedom, self governance, opportunities, fulfillment of our ambitions, prosperity and good life and that decision is to join Matebeleland Liberation Organisation ie MLO , mobilise others, commit and sacrifice and fight for your freedom, independence and sovereignty."

He said people must remember it cant be delivered to them on a silver platter though they would attempt to push for a negotiated settlement as their preferred route and would seem impossible until it is done.

"We don't need to apologise or feel ashamed but proud for claiming what rightfully belongs to us and no one but ourselves must make that claim and enforce our demand," he said.

"That is the correct decision and right thing to do.Be part of the progressive movement and open your eyes and see the political climate in Zimbabwe pregnant with all ingredients that will give birth to The Republic Of Matebeleland by 2018 or thereabout. Sadly, if we miss this opportunity, we shall live to regret for failure to to see and seize the opportunity. This is our time to deliver our independence and live side by side in peace with Zimbabwe as neighbours. Siyaphambili 1 Sizinikele ! Wena ke? Kibo kagwala akula sililo kodwa kulobuyanga, lendlala, lobugqili."

He said a big mistake and a very bad decision we have made, which must be corrected by all as soon as possible, is that of trying to run away from people political challenges, ignoring or avoiding Matabeleland independence clarion calls and pretending to be Zimbabweans and hoping some Zimbabwean leader would rescue us from Zimbabwean oppression and xenophobia.

"Some are planting their hopes in the death of President Robert Mugabe as a panacea to our oppression and ndebelephobia. Some are even thinking the 2018 elections will make a difference yet we all know that nothing will change but chaos and civil strife assured. No Zimbabwean leader shall deliver matebeles from oppression and xenophobia not even the death of President Robert Mugabe can deliver us from Zimbabwean oppression. This leaves our country (The Republic of Matabeleland) controlled by our enemies who's interests are to dominate and loot everything from us, force us into exile and expose us to xenophobia and humiliation," he said.

"President Nelson Mandela taught us that it all seems impossible until it is done yet Matabeleland independence is very much achievable under the present Zimbabwean conditions. We cant afford to fail to exploit the situation that the Almighty God has created for us. It is not "a pie in the sky" as some cowards and delusional brothers who are so afraid of their own freedom and would want us to believe."

He said with fear, people choose to gang up with their oppressors to shoot down our independence clarion calls.

"Matebeles should remain focused and vigilant. Do not be deceived by such apologetic traitors who's aim in life is to impress their colonisers, always advocating for the illusive "bigger picture" and tea pot shaped nonsense," he said.

"The super power Soviet Union (USSR) broke into 15 states, Checoslovakia broke into 2 states, Yugoslavia broke into 12 states,India broke into three states, Norway broke into 2 states, Belgium is about to break into 2 states yet it is the seat of the european union, Spain would break up giving Catolonia independence as Britain would constantly face the Scotland independence question for many years ahead and in our own african continent Sudan broke into 2 states and South Sudan was born. Ethiopia, the seat of african union broke into 2 states and Eretria was born, while Somalia broke up into three semi automous states. If this was possible in Asia, Europe and other countries in Africa, how could it be impossible in Matabeleland ?"

Siwwela said at MLO they are ready to negotiate Matebeleland independence and sovereignty with the Zimbabwe government.

"We extend our hand of friendship and wish the Zimbabwe government can reciprocate our gesture. Zimbabwe must stop pretending that our grievances shall dissipate into the thin air but have the courage to engage us to resolve this amicably. We remind the Zimbabwean government once again, that those who make a peaceful revolution impossible will make a violent revolution inevitable," he said.

"The Republic of Matebeleland shall remain a neighbour to The Republic of Zimbabwe and conduct trade with it and maintain diplomatic relations with them and stand ready to give some Zimbabweans refugee whenever the need arise and show them what UBUNTU means. They should be assured that they will always be welcome in The Republic of Matebeleland as long as they would respect our constitutional dispensation."

He said fellow matebeles, fellow countrymen, no one shall deliver us from Zimbabwean bondage and ndebelephobia but ourselves. We have no choice but to mobilise and join MLO and fight for our freedom, independence and sovereignty.

"The time is ripe and our cause is right. Its time to be free, independent and sovereign and join the family of nations. Stop being spectators and pretenders. The means justify the end. Ask not what Matebeleland can do for you but what you can do to make Matebeleland free, independent and sovereign. Siyaphambili ! Sizinikele ! Wena ke? Kibo kagwala akula sililo kodwa kulobuyanga, lendlala, lobugqili. Siyaphambili! Sizinikele ! Wena ke? Akuzenzo kungemazwi!" he said.
