'I am smart individuals' masquerading as leaders are a disease time will cure: Zimbabwe experience, lessons and a tough way forw

1 Corinthians 1:26-27 (NIV) "For you see your calling brethren, that not many are wise according to the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble but God choose the foolish things of the world that he might put to shame those who are wise. God chose the weak things of the world that he might put to shame the things that are strong."

PERSPECTIVES.
Zimbabwe has a disease that will take many people down in history as having done little for FRREDOM cause except to feed on SELF and INDIVIDUALISM. The greatest way to have power is to know how to build it, shape it and apply it and not to prematurely seek to capture it and abuse it.

Mr. Robert Mugabe, in my history book, will go down as a teacher who taught treachery, corruption and how to coerce opponents in order to retain and employ power to best serve self opportunity. Zimbabwe has achieved this target par excellence. The type of politics Zimbabwe thrives in is not politics of common sense or values that seeks saving of the ordinary often called "common man". It has taken from the legendary racial crunch into absurd nationalism baptized into piety of selfishness escorted by ill feelings against anyone that is a critique of the so-called armed struggle leadership.

UDERMINING SELF CONFIDENCE PROCESS
Scriptures have been very clear from the outset and those with eyes let them read what sayeth the Holy Spirit seeking to make humanity dress in a own of kindness that show love and respect for each other and rules. The country is laundered by a generation of money hunters in church pulpits to the political arenas all subscribing to one religion or another and yet having no love for people, the ordinary people who are only looking for basic things of life. We have newly born and grown ups all talk of corrupt money through politics. Riches are no more attributes to hard work, or education you have received. If anything with all those values of a normal system one is likely to be employ less and irrelevant.

Truth is a country whose currency was equal to an USA Dollar value in 1980 to day has no currency of her own and prides in a head of state who runs down other heads of state while unable to feed his people or create employment let alone protect civilians from wanton hooliganism slowly engulfing the country. For want of better sense and word the economy is collapsing and the British feeling guilty are trying to give hand out to sustain chaos and disorder. One cannot see this last long except that we will breed another crop of selfish greedy Zimbabweans who will grow on love for themselves discounting democracy as a system for aliens who want to take "their economy."

SOWING PERMANENT SEEDS OF SELFISHNESS
The term "our economy", or "their economy" refers to the few who through hooks and crooks of snatching and threats of death, torture and brutalization have taken others' farms with little or no compensation. While that politics was alarming it also produced a crop of students who admire Mr. Mugabe as a ‘saviour' even though majority of them own nothing to their name. Few who have had the fortune of dispossessing others have run down the economy and subsequently many of the farms cannot produce even simple vegetables. A country that has record of feeding itself even in tough times to day swims in abject poverty with lowest life rated and highest crime among other things.

These are but chains of selfishness creating values that lay blame without solutions. This unfortunately is what Zanu did one day one of taking power. Blame a fellow liberation party, Zapu until they had Joshua Nkomo run out of the country (to return later), then Canaan Banana who had to die in exile. Canaan Banana if at all he had a mistake it was one when he sought to rewrite the bible and sodomizing children. The rest were just fermentation of a political party that had specializing in eliminating her opponents in styles second to none on the continent of Africa.

CROPS OF ZANUISM IN POLITICS
Sadly, there are many children who have grown watching this who think it is some generousness that need preserving and continue to survive under protection of force of arms, abusing the masses including amassing of wealth through use of very strong control and brutality.  Simple observations on the behavior of Zimbabweans will endorse the fact that there are many who believe that politics is the game of robbery with support of the army craftily portrayed as smart politics by the teacher of violence, Comrade Robert Gabriel Mugabe. Between 2014 and 2016, with 2018 elections looming, Zimbabwe has witnessing a mushrooming of political parties that claim they want to participate in the forthcoming elections.

I lived within and saw military take overs on the continent of Africa. The military lie openly in order to remove a leader. Six weeks after take over the military take off on the same road of tribalism and corruption with such speed that they virtually are millionaires within months. Subsequently the surge of military takes over from civilian governments grew like wild fire from the time Kwame Nkrumah was over thrown in 1966 in Accra, Ghana. Soldiers never admitted their limitations and how they, in many cases than not, were used mainly by American Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). The scenario is similar to the Zimbabweans situation where many political parties are a ploy by Zanu to camouflage their success as a democratic government whose popular majority elections were strong and undisputed.

With a doctrine of Military eligible to being political card holders and founder members of the Liberations Veterans Association led by Comrade Robert Mugabe cut across any criticism that could be envisaged from any body except it came from outside influence such as the CIA. Mr. Mugabe while so cautious of American control took to their methods and sought to oppress his opponents. Most of the gullible young Zimbabweans send to school by Zanu liberation movement or still send to school under Zanu government were full of praise of Zanu and admired Mr. Mugabe's eloquence more than his
leadership strategy. This naivety resonates with majority African states youth who supported leadership blindly. This was partly African leadership strategy to remain in control of students and peasants. With the ‘death' of Zapu in 1987 at the Unity signing accord Zanu was heading towards a one state party were it not for the fact that some individuals in Zanu were not ready for endorsement of one party state.

Suffice to say much of the young generation admired Mr. Mugabe and his styles of running government. The very strong internally born opposition to Zanu, strong and vibrant, unlike the rest that were weak and soon to die, in September 1999 the Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) was formed. It was united force of progressives more so the ordinary and working class. Until the 2008 proposed Government of National Unity by Thabo Mbeki of South Africa, MDC had shown will power to push for genuine change. As Morgan Tsvangirai begun feeling confident so were the cracks of Zanu CIO intelligence unit in cracking the movement down.

People watched and saw the wealthy creation that changed hands and how the party in discretionally used funds particularly the ‘Lobola" (paying of dowry) costs of the newly wedded to Morgan Tsvangirai. Suffice to say Zanu had achieved its objective and Morgan was to meet with several opposition to his leadership style and resolve to remove Zanu.

The scenario when GNU failed and when reforms were not enforced or policed it encouraged mushrooming of political parties with different agenda to taking political power but ascribing to freeing the country from Zanu and her oppressors. The Agenda was the needy requisition in the country. The methods to achieve the end opened a network of disingenuous political players.  The basis of forming a political party is tantamount to abuse of freedom and power of choice. Direction for the true facts that will bring freedom has been hidden under the aim of getting rich quick like all luck Zanu cohorts who benefitted from Mr. Mugabe misrule.

Zanu ironically has encouraged the formation of new political parties because it is the only way they can divide and remain strong to take over from election to election. It needs no intelligence to see that for as long as Zanu old vanguards of Stewarts remain intact there can be no chance of a new winner outside the doors of Zanu. To see anyone calling himself intelligent forming a political party to participate in 2018 elections is absurd and shows naivety to the extreme.

Power is in realizing our weakness and taking stock of our strength to put together the willing to order the rest to learn of new ways to think and look at ways ahead different. The difficult is not in walking the talk but in convincing people that Mr. Mugabe, as a system, can be put to rest ever after thirty-seven years of brutality, suppression of news and information and abuse of people. That s the tall order that is blinding thinking in many who come up with ideas they want to form political parties. We have enough political parties but few genuine, honesty thinkers who offer viable solution.

Reform if acceptable given strong organization of people to vote against Zanu will win but not when there still is a show of political parties contenting for the same thing. Transition is another route when international could sanction the mode to leverage speeding of reforms and guaranteeing protection of the masses from government brutality. From the words of a professor Patrice Lumumba of Kenya, Africa is led by a group of thieves with little patriotism. Zimbabwe is led by wolves who are in sheep clothing. The problem in Zimbabwe is that every newly born intend on forming a political party calls himself a sheep.

CONCLUSION.

Zimbabwe needs moral courage based on conviction of the wrong that has succeeded in subverting genuine patriotism for a fake one born on the concept of the few liberation war heroes. War of liberation was not born on individualism but on the virtue of strength of numbers of many read to die so Independence and Freedom can be transferred into the hands of the majority. Few calling themselves liberation heroes is a detraction from the spirit of the liberation struggle. The spirit of vanity and greedy stems from the lack of sound governance doctrine born of transparency, accountability and best practices in governance. Formation of numerous political parties is not a solution ever but affirmation of the vanity maturing. The country needs thinkers more than illiterates that have many degrees behind their names. Experience more that students of selfishness. Discipline and integrity more than self promoting political corn men. Society has the final say in choosing of good, honesty leadership.
