What I learnt from a disabled cockroach

Warning: The following message may change your life!)
Sometime back when I was a young boy, I saw a cockroach moving up the wall of my bedroom one evening. I took one of my uncle's traditional sandals known as amanyathela and hit it. It fell off the wall. The next day while sweeping the floor I discovered that there was a headless cockroach moving inside the rubbish I had been sweeping. I was sure it was the same cockroach I had hit with my uncle's nyathela the previous day. How could a cockroach whose head was removed with a nyathela the previous day be still alive and kicking the next day. Where was this disabled cockroach getting the oxygen and strength to survive? I was fascinated. I took this headless or disabled cockroach and put it into a matchbox. The first thing every morning was checking to see if my disabled cockroach was still alive. Amazingly, each morning I would find it still much alive and kicking. The spectacular lively disabled / headless cockroach became my major source of entertainment for a full week. After a week I forgot about my mysterious match box. I only remembered after a month and when I opened it the poor headless/disabled cockroach had long died and dried!
Now lets hear the conclusion of the matter: A cockroach can survive for weeks with its head chopped off. There are many relationships which are still very much alive, yet they are just a disaster waiting to happen. One partner may still be moving lively up and down inside the matchbox, wearing a big smile pretending everything is alright when the head has been chopped off or they are slowly dying on the inside because of the treatment from the other one. Just give it some time you will find the relationship having turned into a dead dry cockroach inside the matchbox. Without a connection to our constant supply of love, forgiveness, kindness and respect, all our headless but seemly spectacular relationships are headed for a drastic dramatic dry up and eventual death. We may still post our spectacular happy pictures on social media playing a happy couple, show off our fascinating awesome smile and movement inside the matchbox, but as long as the relationship is no longer connected to it's source of life, it's a matter of time before the disabled cockroach is found dead and dried up inside it's matchbox! I have seen several spectacular marriages of celebrities which are an envy of many dying and drying up all of a sudden. We are then left to wonder; how is it possible that a famous couple which was a role model to all of has come to a sudden slit. Oftentimes it's because we were applauding the spectacular movement of a headless cockroach. We were deceived by the outside public appearances, the fake million dollar smiles and eye-popping mind boggling glorious glamorous pics; when in fact the cockroach had been disconnected from its head and its sources and pillars of greatness. Disabled cockroaches, can remain outwardly spectacular for several days, by they will not deceive us forever. They are a disaster waiting to happen!
The fact that you can still prophesy and flow in the anointing, doesn't mean that the Lord is indeed with you. There is a difference between having God and having the power of God. There is a difference between having God and having the gift from God. We are frequently deceived by those who still exercise the gift of God thinking that they are still one with the God of that gift. Sooner or later we are stunned when we see them dead and dried up in their matchbox. A headless disabled cockroach can't pretend for long, it can't survive for years and can't deceive forever. Let us fix our outwardly great but internally disabled relationships, spiritual lives and businesses before they bring public shame. Lets continually check and evaluate if the happiness and outward greatness is a result of a well coordinated system and solid foundations. No more keep up appearances.
