Are Mugabes creating a political dynasty?: People in Zimbabwe need to exert their authority over Zanu Political decay

Media and social networks on Zimbabwe by Zimbabweans, in my opinion, has played silent role on who is who in Zimbabwe on politics, community building, discipline and prudent management objectivity including suitable back grounds, crimes in years past or present if any, marriage history, religion etc, just to give the public insight and awareness. The phobia to publish negative political publicity on Zanu arose from the draconian rules Mugabe government adopted exceeding the rough tag of war on black media Ian Smith, of the then Rhodesia, had developed as a self-preservation strategy. Zimbabweans therefore continued to be fearful and afraid of Central Intelligence Organization (CIO) as its history is marred with historical torture and disappearances of citizen to prevent freedom in thinking and telling of any wrongs on the government.
The culture of reprisal of people for their opinion by authority was inherited from the colonial legacy into Mugabe authoritarianism and appears simmering its way down through to all opposition politics. It is legitimate for one to wonder if it is a Zimbabwean cultural tendency to unconsciously drift into Dynasty building the way so far embarked on by Robert Mugabe under the direct ambition of his wife Grace Mugabe. MDC-T like Zanu-Pf, summons party members to inquire on their motives for saying their opinion on the leadership of the party. Media in Zimbabwe has and is afraid than loathing to run ugly but objective news on failure, incompetence and corruption and therefore failing to help shape citizens opinions on who is fit to run Zimbabwe government. The historical negligence while understood as fear of arrest and torture if not murder by the Government of Mr. Mugabe for those inside, the diaspora can never be condoned for failing to work on the call for systematic international isolationist policy on Zanu regime.
Zanu political party has embarked on several and repetitive poor governance schemes by the same people until the country has gone economically broke. There is no sense of NATIONAL INTEREST which will trigger feeling of guilty conscience in a normal citizen in a leadership position to resigning as a result of failure in order to paving way for some better talented citizens to contribute best therefore building a nation best. There has been and is a dishonesty sense of ownership to the country and people by Robert Mugabe by virtue of just having been outside the country working alongside combatants without necessarily going to the battlefront. The using of all the government bodies like the army, security and police to protect that false sense of nationhood has become a favorite in Africa and dictator driven economies. Rarely due to fear are such political scamming schemes questioned, refuted and/or contested by opposition political parties.
Receiving snippets of views and opinions on these matters from writers on sporadic basis from the Diaspora does not make the challenge consistent the need to quiz government continuously on her role and her failures to either set goals or carry an honest evaluation on performance. The lack of cooperation between media and politicians while negative, contributed to tension between state and public opinion sending government agents in charge of security on witch hunt and randomly hitting on citizens with all kind of terror charges. Inevitably, it created a sour political climate.
The inevitable internal hostility between people and police/secret agents brought back the legacy of colonial insecurity but at a much cruel level when disappearances and torture of political activists increased and night visitation of persons who are thought to be running down government increased. People begun guarding what they say and it 'kills' business enterprising, creativity, initiatives and deters progressive risk taking.
The supposedly enjoyable new independence freedoms turned into ugly interruptions by a suspicious government placing people on random personal surveillance. This accounts why many people left Zimbabwe and begun newspapers and websites outside the country. The country has since seen some changes in people mobility including increased political persecutions putting Zimbabwe at the lowest level in bad human rights record list in the world.
Zimbabwe stands as a poor governance country; whose economy, her human rights records and political land scape in free and fair voter programs suffer lack of world confidence with poor world opinion on her 2008 elections. In 2017, eight years later, Grace Mugabe speeds her rise to power in a way showing utter ignorance on the dynamics of politics on the struggle and conflict within a former liberation movement political party. It could well lie in some mischief hidden in fears within the hierarchy of Zanu itself on the rivalry over succession on power hustling and on the ugliness of terrorizing each other within the Zanu political party. Should Grace Mugabe, by any imagination, enter into a contest for supremacy in Zimbabwe politics? Is it justified for Mrs. Grace Mugabe to claim her political role in Zimbabwe on the basis of her marriage to Mr. Robert Mugabe or on her contributions, if any, to some community initiatives, or indeed having been an active card holder of Zanu prior to her marriage to Mr. Mugabe?
Is Grace Mugabe (nee Marufu) known then or now for her leadership in any or some civil demonstrations elsewhere which highlighted her love and loyalty to some community and/or to some issues on social justice in the country or outside? She may never have risen even to a school prefect level, or shown any leadership except being married and therefore a mother and wife. This is not to run Grace Mugabe down. It accounts for her unknown history in leadership. Truth is, as it is now, no freedom exists except a very sacrosanct pathway to some distorted dynasty unprecedented to the Mugabe Robert clan and tribe.
Nothing virtuous, I am sure many would agree that there is no exceptionalism about the president of Zimbabwe except if we consider his insensitivity to good governance, tolerance for corruption and very poor diplomatic surveys. Diplomatically Mr. Mugabe has been a disaster that has contributed to the downward spiral in economic stagnation in the country. Every poor governance hardship has had its explanation in the opposition politics conceived as a persistent white black puppets that, in Zanu mind, who collaborate with Western nations. Subsequently Zimbabwe economy has had no direction to take at all except for excessive corruption within government spilling down to the core of society the police and military and masses. People in Zimbabwe as a result have adopted a live and let-live approach to life.
