What is the most important virtue for Zimbabweans, be they politicians, businessmen, intellectuals, ordinary people, and peasant

New International Version: He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8).
Zimbabwe has worshipped power and money in the name of the liberation struggle and we have remained slaves unto the instincts of their avarice. Today everyone wants to lead not so much from the humility pillar but from a poor example so far given by the likes of Robert Gabriel Mugabe and the Zanu cohorts who faithfully watched while our virtues as a nation and people become reduced to values of greedy, aggrandizement, vanity, immorality and corruption.
Inadvertently Zimbabwe together with many other world nations has moved away both from the values spiritual and values democratic. When avarice rules, rule of law is just a decorative piece of display to cite when on international forums showing semblances of normalcy even when agony is all what much of the country suffer in owe and silence.
While true that we cannot be perfect, it does not excuse us committing all kinds of sin with our eyes open in the name of power acquisition. I have known and followed atrocities of Zanu and yet amazed that brutalities can be ‘ordained' into virtues when brandishing an AK 47 at innocent people so they believe in your wrong. For how long though should falsehood remain strong from use of force and violence while few are bribed into acquiescence and approval?
Might it be added that the acquiescence is out of fear than it is out of love and conviction. In such persons humility lacks for everything they do has the call from power hunger than from the love for humanity. Justice even unto those who claim having degrees in law, has since left them and only used as a tool for oppressive measures to ride on top chasing after power, dominion and avarice driven by complete disregard of humans and any rights they may want to claim.
From childhood the lesson of respecting mankind irrespective of their origin and geography or race/religion is to honour life beginning when man celebrates the birth of a child as a special gift. They may not know where the gift comes from and if they think they are the masters of everything it only makes them worst in self-veneration and in seeking control over others. Humans are unique creatures and have capacity t damage self in a contest for supremacy.
Humans can be respectful, loyal, obedient and constitutional when authority is established from men by some degree of consensus. It is for this reason that democracies seek election as an arbiter for freedom and fairness. How does Zanu Members of Parliament justify presence of military men, retired and active without uniform but armed, among the people as though the country is at war when the country is actually peaceful except for the hunger of power by few individuals in Zanu that are accustomed to loot wealth and own it in excess in the name of the liberation struggle.
Where is the humility of the liberation struggle as an individualism liberation force? Where is the sacrifice that my brother left home in order to set the peasant and workers free from hunger, from oppression by anyone? Where is freedom when everything is anchored on force without negotiation on the harmony of collective understanding which the struggle sought? Instead all I see around me is rot and corruption of force and violence and have to question my brother Mnangagwa if this is all the struggle could have brought back home. It is lamentable that muningina like General Chiwenga who should retire to encourage peaceful coexistence does not seem to understand the purpose of mediation to obtain reconciliation and harmony that aggravate disharmony. Who said he was the best in being number two or three in the land? Does he understand his talents? Where is our loyalty as people and citizens? To money and wealth gathering or to the least of our Zimbabweans masses who look up to us for social justice?
We are still harvesting the wrath of incomplete and unrefined ugly revolutionary misgivings in the euphoria:" we went to fight for this country". Its time equal-relativity is exercised, created and accepted to affect all irrespective of color, status, size and station in life now or in the past. Rule of law has to be understood as such and no other way if to hope for peace and progress for the country of Zimbabwe is what we are keen and honest to get.
Here is the summary of the way the thought process and emotional intelligence on which to construct and the country precepts for independence and freedom born from experience of greedy and ‘selfishism' by few corrupt individuals has taught me. CITIZENSHIP LOYALTY must be to GOD, FAMILY, COUNTRY, CONSTITUTION and the FLAG in that order giving no room for greedy that preaches ‘I am greater than thou' sentiments of violence born on brutality in order to be in charge and control. Incidentally no outside force can force a country to behave except precipitate it into deeper violence like the case of Libya and Iraq amply demonstrates. It is the citizens' duty to owe each other education THROUGH EXAMPLES OF SIMPLE AND HUMBLE LIFE, which will take the country to a higher ladder of civilization THROUGH ILLUSTRATION OF WORKS ON GOOD GOVERNANCE. For any political party to take the country from riches into rugs and poverty is ugly and criminal
No country with properly working separation of powers system can experience upsets that keeps overriding constitutional authority except as we go back to the dark ages era. But we know, and I am sure we agree how ugly and too dark the dark ages were and that none of us alive has wishes to visiting that era again. Let us exercise caution, vigilance, and intelligence on simple issues of respecting life irrespective of violence spitted from anyone and vote to change that selfish behaviour. No veteran is worthy the name, irrespective of the party he supports, when he justifies use of force of violence on any one peaceful to attain advantage over him/her.
