Is the Zimbabwean powerless over evil?.
Last week's ZRP action to prohibit the march to mark world press freedom day should ring bells in the minds of the Zimbabwean that ZANU PF will never uphold the constitution. For those who still had doubts about the sincerity of ZANU PF, I think every doubt has now been cleared. I said it before the new constitution was crafted, that ZANU PF will never hold uphold the constitution, old or new.
By prohibiting the march ZANU PF has shown that it has not changed one bit from the last decade despite Zimbabwe having a new constitution. Mugabe has maintained his rule through, among other strategies, restricting media freedom and severely limiting access to information.
It is unthinkable that we Zimbabweans have left our destiny to be determined by an incompetent Mugabe and his ZANU PF crooks. We are the masters of our destiny and we should immediately assume this role that has been usurped by afore said crooks. ZANU PF is not taking us in a direction that is in our best interest.
So we must resist this together and make sure that we have our freedom. WE have to come out of this situation where we are at the mercy of ZANU Pf. The ruling party has shown that it does not care about people. ZANU PF has proved to be as heartless as Boko Haram. BH may actually be milder than ZPF. ZPF has kidnapped and taken ransom the whole nation with no signs of letting up.
For your information ZPF has left the environment to degrade, service delivery to deteriorate. Our army, air-force and police have not improved in terms of equipment or weaponry they use. ZPF elite have not improved anything except their bellies. The Zimbabwean must never let this continue. "Swords" must be drawn.
But the revolt the Zimbabwean carry out must carefully be planned in terms of its aftermath. It will be effective against the ZPF cowards. I am saying the Zimbabwean has no option than to complain. He/she must complain against this abuse by government, negative economic growth and sky high corruption. The Zimbabwean has had enough of this undeserved misery.
Through unemployment, poverty, poor service delivery and unfettered government corruption and through ballot system failure, war hast been declared on us the citizens by ZPF government… we must fight it on the streets through peaceful protests. The new constitution provides for this. Though the ZPF government treats the new constitution as a mere toilet paper, we can use it to achieve our end which is total freedom. There is no way to freedom unless through this undesirable path. ZANU PF is now forcing the Zimbabwean through this way because of own its intransigence.
I dream of a Zimbabwe were the Zimbabwean should be able to write a poster, board a commuter omnibus to town with it, walk with it to Africa Unity Square and display it for however long. And after that, to be able to ride another omnibus back home unharmed. This is the Zimbabwe which I dream for the Zimbabwean.
I also believe in a Zimbabwe with small effective sub governments-small effective governments without a Chombo to control or limit their effectiveness. Small governments more directly in contact in with the people and more keenly attuned to their needs will work wonders because of their participatory approach to development and problem solving. Dis-comrade Chombo was accurately chosen to limit the powers of these local governments, all because Mugabe wanted to keep himself in power by keeping people powerless. If you suppress the proper functioning of minute body cells, how then can the whole body function properly? Because of using this approach we have seen poor sanitation, poor education systems and poor local transportation systems in local jurisdictions.
Such approach has been used to limit and to deliberately ignore or filter out feedback to government from the common man. Thanks to dis-comrade Chombo.
Through this intricate syndicate, the Zimbabwean has been heavily oppressed by Mugabe and his ZANU PF. So now the Zimbabwean should unfetter himself from all this through any means. Those who oppress the Zimbabwean sit at the table and arrange this system and put it in place, so that the government may not change. They never allow the Zimbabwean to come together to craft how he may unchain their fetters. Evil men, these dis-comrades are. All of them. They are busy looting Zimbabwean resources and enjoying the proceeds only with their wives or concubines or their bastards. But the Zimbabwean is left to suffer gruesome poverty he has the capability to build his infrastructure and achieve unprecedented economic growth to lift himself out of this misery, yet they don't allow him. Only because they want to, steal and enrich only themselves. Poverty is created, wealth is created too. The Zimbabwean should be given a chance to work and get himself out this poverty that Mugabe and ZANU Pf unnecessarily plunged him into. Mugabe should unleash the Zimbabwean. Does Mugabe want to live Zimbabwe in ruins? Is that what he wants???
But if the Zimbabwean is not afforded this opportunity on a silver platter or through the ballot system, then the Zimbabwean should simply snatch it back to self.
At their best, people are capable of reason, fairness, self-discipline and fairness; people are also susceptible to passion, intolerance and greed. Well said Hamilton and Madison. ZANU PF and Mugabe are exceedingly greed and, they make sure no checks and balance are in place to restrain their greed.
The MDC-T has failed to dislodge ZANU pf several times because ZPF always manipulated the voting process. Now it MDC-T has resorted not to fight the enemy, but to fight among itself. MDC-T in many ways mirrors ZANU Pf. The essence of a democracy is always going back to the people to consult. The MDC has split many times over. If there is anything the MDC knows better is to keep splitting until the party loses any significance. As ZANU PF is Mugabe, MDC-T is Morgan Tsvangirayi. Both parties rely on a single person for their image. Both parties should just change their names into Mugabe and Tsvangirayi respectively so that once these two beings are gone; both parties will also be gone with them.
Should the Zimbabwean time come, he must never rely on single one person for image. I hope the Zimbabwean will later avoid such mainstays which rely on patronage but instead build strong institutions that enhance and sustain the interest of the Zimbabwean.
The best chance of the Zimbabwe's success will depend on transparence.
The demise of Zimbabwe lay in when people were strangled of information by the power hungry Robert and ZANU Pf. Any subsequent regime that wants to be successful should do just the opposite. Turn all the lights on. Transparence and more transparence and more accountability should be. Only then will success be achieved in economic growth general improvement in the standard of life for every Zimbabwean whom I prefer to call the Zimbabwean.
But now the real enemies of state have clearly unmasked themselves by hindering press freedom day march. The real enemies of state are those who cannot stand our freedom because they want to continue to rule. Our being free and Mugabe's stay in power are mutually exclusive scenarios.
The Zimbabwean will only do better if ZANU PF gets out of the way. ZANU PF has taken and wasted much of the Zimbabwean time, and has not achieved any positive gains. Zanu pf has nothing left to do for the people than only to force itself on the people through a false legitimacy either gained through forcing people to vote for it, or through cleverly manipulating the entire voting process.
"Something is wrong somewhere- that much is known": but there is something the Zimbabwean must and can do.
Operation take the wheel.
