They Don't Deserve To Be Called Dogs, They Are Worse Than Dogs

Leaders of the so called placard gate can be likened to a foolish man who soils the well that he also drinks from and later cries foul when the whole well smells of his sh***t.
The same state newspaper, The Herald, which is leading the so called placardgate is the same newspaper which two years back gave its boss, Nathaniel Manheru aka George Charamba acres of space in its newspaper to attack the people of Matabeleland for speaking out against Matabeleland genocide.
Nathaniel Manheru did not write one or two articles but three of them, tribally loaded and tribally driven, reducing the painful Matabeleland genocide to a "myth." Opening all the wounds of gukurahundi genocide and rubbing salt on them. Today the same paper is unashamedly leading a hullabaloo over a placard. You evil pretenders denounce the cold blooded murderers in your midst, who have killed innocent people because they are not of their tribe before you attack the innocent placard bearer.
The Zimbabwe National Army 5th Brigade code named gukurahundi (the wind that blows away dirt) was officially deployed in Matabeleland by President Mugabe with the instruction to wipe out all Matebeles.
They went out on a brutal killing spree as per the command. 40 000 unarmed civilians including women, old people and the unborn were murdered in cold blood, 100 000 women including school girls raped, resulting in most girls dropping out of school because of gukurandi pregnancies, 100 000 homes burnt down some of them with people inside. More than 1 million displaced into neighbouring South Africa and Botswana.
The bodies of those brutally killed were carelessly thrown into mine shafts, caves or piled into mass graves dug by their relatives with their bare hands. The sites of shallow graves are known as well as the mine shafts.
To The Herald newspaper and its insensitive handler Nathaniel Manheru aka George Charamba and their equally tribalistic readers and supporters the above savage acts are cause for celebration. They have never denounced the evil acts but instead they form a human shield to defend perpetrators of genocide and cold blooded murderers.
How do you describe such people? One who has the guts to call them dogs through a placard becomes a hero. But to say such cruel, insensitive and inhuman people are dogs is an understatement and an insult to dogs, because dogs are honest and loyal. The very reason why they are called the man's best friend. Hateful conspirators, betrayers, discriminators, genocidists and human life destroyers do not deserve to be called dogs. They are worse than dogs.
The "Shona dogs" placard man has done nothing wrong, he has bravely crossed the straight line dividing the inferior Matebele and those who regard themselves as superior and untouchable and told them his piece of mind via the placard. The whole Shona supremacist system has been shaken they are boiling with anger and their political stoogies based in Matabeleland are also angry on behalf of their masters. Who cares? If the truth makes the perpetrator angry let it be.
Under normal circumstances oppressed all over the word would express themselves in many different ways, anywhere, anytime. Some would use media to say out their grievances. In a situation where their voices are suppressed by the media, they would write on the stones, walls, placards, anywhere and if they have access to the bedroom of their oppressor they would soil the walls with graffiti expressing their grievances. Let the placard man exercise his freedom of expression. Find the cure for the root cause do not bully him into silence.
Matabeles must not fear the tribalism tag that is waved before their faces by the people of Mashonaland to intimidate and shout them down to bully them into submission. The placard man is not the first one nor the last one to be attacked by the anti-Matebele Shona crusades.
Former President of Zapu Cde Joshua Nkomo emphasised on tribalism and corruption. The tribalism tag was raised by the people of Mashonaland, some called for his arrest, some wished him to die in exile and some wanted him to be hanged. Today tribalism and corruption which is in the DNA of the Shona people has brought the country to its knees.
The President of MLO, Cde Paul Siwela, peacefully advocated for the restoration of the statehood of Matabeleland. The same culprits from Mashonaland waved the tribalism tag and he was labelled the "Chief tribalist" the government of Zimbabwe arrested and charged him with treason. When they found out that the treason charge was not enough to silence him and the people of Matabeleland from demanding their independence from Zimbabwe, they plotted to assassinate him. Fortunately he received a tip off and left for Sweden. And there are many Shonas who say Cde Paul Siwela must die in exile.
When a leader of Matebele origin is elected to lead a political party in Zimbabwe the same people flash the tribalist tag; "he is a regional leader or he is a village politician," they would say. Suggesting that all political leaders must come from Mashonaland and that anything Shona is national and anything about Matebele is regional.
When the people of Matabeleland speak out against genocide and the systematic extermination of their identity, languages, culture and dignity, speak out against Shona domination marginalisation, tribal discrimination and raise the issue of self determination. Again the tribalism tag comes out. The people of Mashonaland do not see the above listed as grievances they view them as "tribalism" they want to impose their grievances on us at all cost. This suggests that they view us as their subjects who must obey and take without questioning all decisions made in Mashonaland.
People of Matabeleland will not tolerate this kind of nonsense. One placard in the stadium and Shona teachers that are chased from Matabeleland schools for their incompetence is nothing compared to what is coming. The masses of Matabeleland led by MLO under the leadership of Cde Siwela will resist Zimbabwe oppression and fight tooth and nail to regain the independence and sovereignty of the statehood of Matabeleland.
MLO was formed to protect the vulnerable people of Matabeleland who are killed and abused on daily basis by the government of Zimbabwe and its people before the eyes of the world yet the world remains silent. We are the last line of defense. Above all our duty is to lead the down trodden Matebele masses to their independence and freedom, a job we are prepared to do unapologetically and without fear, using any means possible.
Honourable Priscilla Misihairambwi put it well when she said, "Today it's just a placard, tomorrow it could be guns; it could be dead bodies. Instead of being upset and angry with the person who did the placard, we should be saying this is just but a symptom of a bigger problem that we have and how do we quickly address it. Otherwise, we are headed for a serious problem." In Afrikaans they say, "Hier kom groot kak."
We agree with honourable Priscilla Misihairambwi. She said it right in their own parliament. We hope the government of Zimbabwe and the people of Mashonaland who are seemingly over-drunk with power which they are misusing and abusing to oppress Matebeles will listen to her words of wisdom. There is bottled anger all over Matabeleland. The Shona Supremacist System will be shocked to see how the masses of Matabeleland will respond to the pains of oppression.
