 Dear Malema and EFF

Daughters and Sons of African soil, comrades in the struggle for Economic Freedom, representatives of the poor, the unemployed, miners, garden boys and domestic workers, I greet you in the names of our high God, the Ancestors and the war veterans who set the liberation agenda. As the president of ZUPA and ECFF, we stand in solidarity with you in the Economic Freedom struggle. We acknowledge and applaud the decision of your organisation to press ahead with full empowerment and the redistribution of land.

I am very motivated to write this letter to you regarding the mysterious and unexpected passing of Zanele, the daughter of our esteemed minister - Jonathan Moyo. In the name and interest of our common humanity, we are asking you as an African opinion leader to act and help bring closure to what happened to Zanele while studying in your country. As a fearless, courageous organisation, its fighters and its leadership setting the agenda to finally achieve the Pan Africa objective of AN ECONOMICALLY FREE, UNITED, DEMOCRATIC, EGALITARIAN, AFRICA, comrade you are in a better, effective position to ensure that the law enforcement agents and medical personnel investigating the death of Zanele is carried out thoroughly and meticulously to ensure that satisfactory explanation is found without further and painful delay.

I am conscious and aware that your plate is full but trust that you can find space to bring this issue in parliament as a way of increasing pressure to concerned Government officials. This will mean that the wishes of the masses of Zimbabwean peoples and the Moyo family are carried out. Without the help of EFF and your comrade Malema, this serious concerns will be buried and pave the way for the even more Terrible Evil in your country. What is of particular concern in this situation is the silence of the governing party.

While I warmly welcome the decision to investigate, I am conscious and aware that many of the governments involved are conscious agents of imperialism and are used as instruments of new economic colonialism. They collaborate with forces of imperialism in ravaging South Africa, and plundering Africa's God given natural wealth, oppressing people both economical and political, reducing them to poverty, shanty towns and degradation. Consequently, we must proceed to ensure that any life lost is fully investigated so that we do not get a society where confusion reigns, where imperialism and its agents is still able to murder young Africans, and plunder Africa's resources while the masses of our African sisters and brothers and their children continue to languish in poverty. So, we need your help. The main question here is "What exactly happened to Zanele?" We need answers as ECFF and Zimbabwe Unemployed People's Association.

Comrade Malema, our African cultures were laid down by our ancient ancestors. They put God at the centre of our culture with the instructions to live in balance and harmony with God and nature; to practice truth justice and righteousness; and to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, house the homeless, give water to the thirsty and to minister unto the sick. They also left us wisdom which teaches us that everything is changing all the time that things change with time, that time changes everything and that things change. Our struggles against colonialism, landlessness, and economic freedom are proof of this. Consequently, we can be confident that as conscious Economic Fighters fighting against imperialism under the guise of new neo-colonial manifestation, we will achieve our Pan African Economic Freedom objective and build the advanced technical society. When we examine the economic and social conditions of the masses of our African people on the continent, we find that we are in want of the basic necessities of life; in want of food, in want of clothing, in want of shelter, in want of health care, in want of education for the children. Edward Blyden (1832-1912), told us that prior to the coming of the Europeans, African society was so organised that no one was in want of the basic necessities of life. As a consequence of this, there was hardly any crime.

Now that our people are in want of the basic necessities of life, there is a great deal of crime, look no further than Zanele Moyo. The current situation in South Africa, especially in Parliament, It seems that nothing happens without EFF. This is a direct result of South African government failing to respond to the needs of the people particularly poverty and crime. Zanele was pursuing her right to education just like any other African child. She wanted to return back home to help with the Development of her country. Development cannot take place in a society where young people are denied education. No nation, no country, no continent can develop economically, socially, scientifically and culturally if it fails to educate its youths. So it is clear that as a people we have been robbed of a young person who would have contributed immensely in the development of our country.

Comrades please say No to cover ups, this practice is the main cause of crime and corruption. As a consequence of this, young lives are lost followed by insufficient investigations. Those involved, just like in Marikina, are not working in the interests of South Africas. Cover ups is just another way of reshaping the demands of capitalists, and that of imperialism. Those who say details of what happened to Zanele will be made available in five years must be expelled since they are active agents' of corruption. EFF must call the police and the minister to order and wage warfare against them so that we can get to the bottom of what happened to Zanele. Any individual or government official opposed to thorough investigation is going against the wishes of the Zimbabwean people and Moyo family and is indeed in opposition to African culture.

For the first time in the history of any criminal investigation anywhere in the world, the South African government officials, the Police informed the bereaved father that investigations outcome, even before conclusion, will be made available in five years. That previous announcement made by the police or officers investigating this incident used wrong terminology. Yet, the South African president is busy doing nothing about this heinous crime. Does this mean that he agrees with his Police?

The problems of Zanele investigations are not a Moyo family or Zimbabwean problem. It is an African problem which must be solved by Africans. Imagine having South African diplomat's son or daughter murdered in Zimbabwe or Zambia. Imagine our experience of xenophobia, and imagine having the Police of any African state making inflammatory statements after the mysterious death of a minister's son or daughter. I think every African must demand thorough investigations, the immediate release of this report. Discussions between heads of states must start and continue until most convincing facts are found.

Comrade Malema, I'm sure as a father, you will understand that Minister Moyo and his family are in desperate need for answers regarding what happened to their angel. In this situation, what can EFF which aspires to lead South Africa do to help? If we learn this lesson well, the coming Economically Free-Africa will be prepared for any and all kinds of challenges which we will then be able to deal with ourselves.
