Kalwa Jazmee hosts gig of the year

Bulawayo will wind up the year in a blast when one of South Africa's popular music stables, Kalawa Jazmee in partnership with Bulawayo business mogul Gift Banda "Mr Gee" and Delta Beverages, host a New Year's Eve bash at Queens Sports Club. The gig, which is a brainchild of the stable's co-founder Zimbawean-born Oscar "Oskido" Mdlongwa and "Mr Gee" will see Oskido bringing along some of his latest acts; Winnie Khumalo, Spikiri, Alaska, BrownDash, Stoan and Speedy, Brickz, Mono T and another Zimbabwean Appleseed supported by local DJs namely DJ Gunz and Zobha. In an interview, Mr Gee said that Oskido and him have decided to make the show an annual event as a way of giving back to the Bulawayo community.
Flyers have already been dispatched as far as the South African border post for the convenience of those coming from South Africa to Zimbabwe.
Tickets will be available at all entry points and will be sold at $15 or R100 before 11pm, $20 afterwards. Tight security has been promised for the gig.
