SA-based Zimbabwean Gospel artiste, Dj Rabaaz, has broken personal record by releasing 9 musical videos in a single day. Six of the videos are from the new Gospel Mbirano VOL 2 album, which is also being launched today while 3 are from the previous Minana album released in 2021. Both media will be available across most social media platforms and online record shops and apps. Born Claud Rabson, the Gospel artiste has gained the name Gospel Mbirano Master for pioneering the new sound fusion of Mbira, SA's amaPiano and shakers, in 2021.
The Gospel artiste, who last year completed his 3rd year in Ministry Leadership Studies with CFCI Bible College (SA) says he sings 'milk of the word' mostly aimed at the 'unborn' and newly converts in Christ. 'Given the Word of God in Matthew 9:37-38, I take myself as a laborer to spread God's word through music because the harvest is plenty out there', said the delighted musician.
Ex-Macheso seasoned drummer, Obert Gomba features in 3 of the new videos and he recorded live drums on one of the Wasaririra remixes on the new album. Other artistes who feature in tee videos are co-Producer King Solo, who also plays keyboards, Nicholas Musonza (guitar), Sydney (bass), Cure Massyv ( amaPiano elements), ManFranko the Rape Preacher (congas), Takaona Bvure (Mbira), Nashe Ayret (vocals), Carol Muzambi (vocals) and Grade 4 daughter of Dj Rabaaz, Shalom Rabson, features as main artise on one collaborated track for Tariro. All 9 videos are directed and produced by Dumisani Mafanise.
To add some excitement to this album launch, Dj Rabaaz has also unveiled his new website www.djrabaazmusic.com to engage more with his audience. Check on the website for more information about the artiste
