2015 GRADUATION CEREMONY
The University of Zimbabwe is pleased to inform all graduands, parents and invited guests of the following arrangements relating to the 2015 Graduation Ceremony.
1. DATE/ TIME/ VENUE
The Ceremony win be held at the UZ Athletics Stadium on FRIDAY 2 OCTOBER 2015. Graduands and Guests are required to be seated by 06:30 hours.
2. DRESS
Men should wear a suit preferably dark, with a plain white shirt and a dark tie. Women should wear a long-sleeved white blouse and a dark skirt (a dark jacket may be worn over the blouse if desired). All graduands are expected to be in full Academic Dress, i.e. gown, appropriate hood and cap.
3. PURCHASE OF ACADEMIC DRESS
Academic dress is available from the Faculty of Education after payment of a $75 graduation fee
4. ADMISSION TICKETS
Admission to the Graduaton venue will be strictly by TICKET ONLY. Each graduand is allowed two guests only. Graduand and Guest tickets are available for collection from your Faculty Office up to 1 October 2015.
5. PHOTOGRAPHS
Except for the authorised University of Zimbabwe Photographer, no other photographers will be allowed entry into the stadium. All Guests are advised not to bring cameras or any photographic equipment into the venue.
REHEARSALS
Attendance of the rehearsals on Thursday 1 October 2015 starting at 14:30 hours at the Athletics Stadium is compulsory.
This 2015 edition of the Graduation Ceremony is very special as it coincides with the University's celebration of 60 years of service to the nation.
