There were rumours on Friday afternoon suggesting that Pastor Evan Mawarire has fled the country. It is alleged that Mawarire is on his way to USA where he has been offered asylum.

People who were arrested in Beitbridge two weeks ago are still in custody.



Magistrate's court is the only court in the country so far to have denied suspected rioters bail.



"It is also the only place where people who never participated were arrested. The people who led riots here were young guys, egg vendors and they outwitted police who were three houses behind," a source told Bulawayo24 today

AAG president Chamu Chiwanza described the stay-aways as domestic economic sanctions being imposed by people such as #ThisFlag Pastor Evan Mawarire .

Chiwanza said the AAG believes in dialogue between the civil society, all political parties and the legitimately constituted government in solving the problems affecting the generality of Zimbabweans.

Gvt on the 14th of July 2016 through the chronicle and herald said bonuses for the above mentioned will be paid on the 15th of July 2016, however nothing has came through accounts and apparently treasury says it has no money for the said payments including salaries which are long overdue.

Awa has been arrested for simply being present at a protest in Harare.

Vendors have reportedly taken to the streets protesting against the Harare Municipality.Riot police have been deployed to curb the protest from moving further.
