Joachim Chissano to attend Chamisa's rally

Former President of Mozambique, Joachim Chissano is attending Zanu-PF's last presidential star rally in President Emmerson Mnangagwa's home province of Midlands.
Chissano is one of most illustrious elder statesmen in Africa. He was hired by Zimbabwe to lead a group that worked to end the country's protracted standoff with its creditors and the international community.
As both an elder statesman and a champion on Zimbabwe Debt Resolution, the former President requested that he attends two rallies: one for Zanu PF, another for CCC.
The Zimbabwean government acceded to the request.
