Reckless bonus spender causes stir at a local pub

A RECKLESS bonus spender caused a stir at Phekiwe Beer wall in Nkulumane 12 suburb yesterday at night when he ran amok, picked up stones and started smashing windows claiming he can afford to repair them all.
This reporter witnessed - Meluleki Moyo (32) of House number 14567 Nkulumane 12 entering the beer hall at around 6pm as sober as a Judge. He ordered black label cots one after the other, and took the dance floor singing along the music.
After about an hour of dancing and drinking without any foul incident, Moyo picked up an argument with another pub patron only known as SaChipo, over whether or not league Champions Dynamos are better than South Africa's Orlando pirates.
Having failed to debate, Moyo started pushing SaChipo and threatening to "finish" him if he thinks he is "clever."
Annoyed by Moyo's utterances, SaChipo slapped the already drunk Moyo who fell down and upon waking up started hurling insults at everyone including his attacker.
Other pub patrons went for him and he ran away, that is when the bonus talk and window smashing drama started.
Outside, he picked stones and threw them, at the pub, destroying windows.
Passersby's apprehended him and he yelled at the top of his voice saying, "Ngekelani, I can destroy this beer hall. I have my bonus and can pay for these cheap windows," he said.
Moyo was latter hauled into the back of a bakkies and sent to Nkulumane police station where he spent the night.
