Kabila congratulates Mnangagwa, advocates for peace in the country

Democratic Republic of Congo President Joseph Kabila and the Vice President of Angola Mr Bornito de Sousa have congratulated President Emmerson Mnangagwa, the government and the people of Zimbabwe on the smooth inauguration and peace prevailing in the country.
President Kabila and Vice President de Sousa were speaking after paying separate courtesy calls on President Mnangagwa at State House today.
Addressing the media after holding bilateral talks with his DRC counterpart, President Mnangagwa said trade relations between the two countries will continue.
"I was very happy to receive that congratulatory message," said President Mnangagwa.
The head of state also said Zimbabwe and DRC have excellent relations and beyond he has a personal friendship with President Kabila.
President Kabila extended his congratulations to the Zimbabwean people for the peace prevailing in the country as well as the smooth inauguration that took place yesterday.
Meanwhile, Vice President of Angola Mr Bornito de Sousa has delivered a message to President Mnangagwa from the President of Angola Joao Lourenco.
