Kambarami crew tried to use this piece of law to plead that theHigh Court judge today does not have the jurisdiction to sit this electoral case. However the court continues the case for a final decision today based on case merits and not the defense jurisdiction pleas by Kambarami pic.twitter.com/g0QNZFc4rg— Thabo Siziba #TheWalk (@TorontoThabo) July 15, 2019
Kambarami was represented by senior Bulawayo lawyer Maqhawe Mpofu of Mlaudzi and partners.
The court was surrounded by heavily armed anti-riot officers anticipating a clash between Mthwakazi Republic Party members and supporters of the Deputy Mayor.
