Highlanders' Ariel "Mangoye" Sibanda is a man who is destined to keep goal for a foreign club very soon!
This is according to a prophet from Bulawayo.
And as he received this prophecy and prayers from Madzibaba Mutumwa, he was also gifted with brand new white robes!
Last Saturday, Sibanda paid a courtesy call on Madzibaba Mutumwa's new shrine in Sihlengeni area under Chief Sigola where the prophet donated mealie- meal to the elderly.
While he was there, the long-serving Bosso goal minder and skipper was summoned to the front where he was presented with new milky white robes maspotoli style.
The man of God went on to reveal to him that his dreams of playing abroad would become a reality.
While he knelt before the cleric and the congregation dressed in his new robes, Mangoye received his blessings.
"We have assisted Peter Muduhwa who has gone to Tanzania. It's high time that this long-serving player at Highlanders Ariel Sibanda goes to play in a foreign land. Take your blessings Ariel. Anytime you will be called by any foreign club," said Madzibaba Mutumwa.
Mangoye, a former Embakwe High School pupil, is to have the robes on his person always: even when attending training or going to camp.
Madzibaba Mutumwa's prophetic vision comes hard on the heels of rumours of a possible move to South Africa for Mangoye. There have been persistent, but yet unconfirmed rumours that top Soweto side, Orlando Pirates, were pursuing his signature.
The 30-year-old penalty specialist, with over 10 goals to his name, has been invited for trials three times, but came just short of earning a contract every time. At one time some local clubs that include Chicken Inn and FC Platinum developed soft spots for Mangoye's services.
