ZNA announces the death of Major General (Retired) Solomon Siziba

The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) has announced the death of Major General (Retired) Solomon Siziba, who passed away this morning at the age of 67. He died at Josiah Magama Tongogara Barracks Camp Hospital in Harare after a prolonged battle with cancer.

In a statement, ZNA Deputy Director of Public Relations, Lieutenant Colonel Tichafa Mungofa, expressed the army's profound sorrow. "It is with a heavy heart that the Zimbabwe National Army announces the passing on of Major General (Retired) Solomon Siziba this morning at Josiah Magama Tongogara Barracks Camp Hospital in Harare," he said.

Major General Siziba was a respected veteran of the liberation struggle and served with distinction in the Zimbabwe National Army before his retirement. His contributions to the defense of Zimbabwe and the development of the military are remembered with deep gratitude.

Mourners are gathered at his residence, 572 Bulawayo Drive, Killarney, Bulawayo. Funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.

The passing of Major General Siziba marks the loss of yet another key figure in Zimbabwe's history, and he will be remembered for his dedication and service to the nation.
