Man jailed after accusing parents of witchcraft

PLUMTREE - A local man has been sent to prison after allegedly insulting his parents and accusing them of bewitching him using his blood.
Panashe Banda was remanded in custody to December 1 by Plumtree magistrate Joshua Nembaware.
The State, led by prosecutors, told the court that on November 15, Banda went to his father’s house in Plumtree where he confronted both parents. He allegedly hurled insults at them while accusing them of practicing witchcraft against him.
The parents later filed a police report, which led to Banda's arrest.
The case continues.
