ZNA announces routine movement of army trucks

The Zimbabwe National Army (ZNA) has advised members of the public of the planned movement of army vehicles through parts of Mashonaland East Province on January 29, 2026.

According to the ZNA, army trucks will be traveling along the Harare–Ruwa–Bromley route and back as part of a scheduled maintenance exercise. The movement is routine and forms part of regular upkeep of military equipment.

The ZNA emphasized that the convoy's presence should not cause alarm, as the activity is not linked to any military operation or security exercise. Instead, it is a standard logistical procedure carried out in the normal course of duty.

Members of the public, particularly motorists along the affected route, are advised to remain calm and exercise patience as the vehicles pass through the area. The army thanked citizens for their cooperation and understanding.
