Aaron Munodawafa, leader of the Mugodhi Apostolic Faith Church (MAFC), has passed away at the age of 111. Munodawafa died of natural causes at the home of one of his sons in Gokwe, having been blind in his later years.

In a statement released this evening, MAFC's legal department confirmed that the apostolic sect leader passed away yesterday afternoon. Munodawafa assumed leadership of the church in 2019, following the death of the late Tadeau Mugodhi.

He will be laid to rest on February 7 in Jani Village, Guru, in Masvingo Province.
