Luveve Stadium has been dehomologated, a development confirmed by a reliable source, leaving Bulawayo's three top-flight clubs without an approved alternative venue for their home matches.

As a result, Highlanders FC, Bulawayo Chiefs FC and Chicken Inn FC will now share Barbourfields Stadium for their Premier Soccer League (PSL) fixtures.

Dehomologation means the stadium's official approval to host top-flight matches has been withdrawn after failing to meet required standards. This renders Luveve unfit to stage PSL games until the identified issues are addressed and clearance is restored.

Although authorities have yet to publicly specify the exact areas of concern, the decision leaves Barbourfields as the city's only sanctioned venue for elite domestic football.

The move is expected to create logistical headaches, particularly around fixture scheduling, pitch maintenance and match-day coordination, with three clubs now dependent on a single facility.
