Stock theft suspects arrested while trying to sell stolen cattle

Police in Nembudziya have arrested two men who were allegedly attempting to sell stolen cattle.
The arrests were confirmed by the Zimbabwe Republic Police on their X platform.
According to police, on 10 March officers acted on a tip‑off and apprehended Norman Katikarengwa (36) and Givemore Chitivha (40) in connection with a stock‑theft case reported at Mashoko Village in the Hongororo area.
"The suspects were apprehended while attempting to sell two cattle — a brown ox and a brown cow," police said.
Investigations revealed that the cattle had been stolen from Chizarira Game Park. The animals have since been recovered.
