Suspected serial robber nabbed in Kadoma

Police have arrested a suspected serial armed robber linked to multiple attacks in Kadoma.
In a statement posted on X, the Zimbabwe Republic Police said Obey Tafadzwa Sithole (24) was arrested in connection with a series of robberies committed on 23 March between 6pm and 11pm.
“The suspect, together with two accomplices who are still at large, allegedly used machetes, knives and pepper spray to attack nine complainants in separate incidents across the town," police said.
In one case, the trio targeted a motorist whose vehicle had broken down near the railway line in Damafalls, stealing cash and valuables worth US$2,700.
Police said several stolen items, including seven mobile phones, had been recovered after being sold to individuals in Chegutu.
