The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) has made several changes to the Zimbabwe national football team squad ahead of the upcoming Unity Cup tournament in the United Kingdom.

Washington Navaya, Isheanesu Mauchi and Prosper Padera have been called up to replace Tino Kadewere, Divine Lunga and Bill Antonio.

Kadewere has been ruled out due to injury after only recently returning to action for his club, while Lunga has been excused from national team duty as his side, Mamelodi Sundowns, prepares for the CAF Champions League final.

The inclusion of Navaya, Mauchi and Padera gives the trio an opportunity to impress the Warriors technical team ahead of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, which are set to begin in September.

Zimbabwe's locally based players are expected to arrive in the United Kingdom on Thursday, where they will later link up with the Europe-based members of the squad.

The four-nation Unity Cup tournament will be played at The Valley in London.

Zimbabwe will open their campaign with a high-profile encounter against Nigeria national football team on May 26, while Jamaica national football team and India national football team will face off the following day.
