Bulawayo-based Afro-Pop musician Bhila is enjoying growing success as his latest single, Njalo Njalo, continues to resonate with audiences across generations, with young listeners embracing the heartfelt love ballad.

The song, a collaboration featuring South African choirs Rossertenville and Utsheketsha Ogezayo, is fast becoming one of the year's standout African love songs, winning admiration for its soulful melodies and uplifting message.

Among those celebrating the track is the Jubilee Academy School Choir in Bulawayo, whose moving rendition of Njalo Njalo has drawn widespread praise and touched the singer.

Bhila said he was humbled to see his music inspiring the younger generation.

"Thank you, Jubilee Academy, for this beautiful moment. It feels incredible to see young learners appreciating my music with so much love.

"Your support means the world to me, and I'm truly humbled. May the music continue to inspire generations," he said.

While Njalo Njalo is rooted in romance, Bhila said the song carries a broader message about perseverance, hope and enduring love.

"Njalo Njalo represents unending happiness. It acknowledges that marriage can have difficult moments, but we overcome them and keep going. It is, in essence, a prayer," he said.

Built around warm acoustic instrumentation, rich choral harmonies and heartfelt storytelling, the song celebrates love that survives hardship, heartbreak, distance and life's many trials.

Its timeless African sound and relatable message have helped it appeal to listeners of all ages, with performances such as the Jubilee Academy choir's rendition highlighting its growing popularity among young music lovers.

As Njalo Njalo continues to gain momentum, Bhila is cementing his reputation as one of Zimbabwe's Afro-Pop artists capable of creating music that not only entertains but also inspires across generations.
