One presidential candidate pulls out

Zimbabwe Development Party (ZDP) presidential aspirant Kisinot Mukwazhe has withdrawn his candidature.
Mr Mukwazhe has cited an uneven political playing field which he said is skewed in favour of Zanu-PF and the MDC-T.
Addressing journalists in Harare, Mr Mukwazhe said he and his supporters are now rallying behind President Mugabe.
The ZDP and other small political parties had appealed to the Constitutional Court to compel government to consider them for funding for election activities.
However, the appeal was dismissed as the funding of political parties is guided by the Political Parties Financing Act.
Under the Act, only political parties that have at least 5% representation in parliament qualify for funding.
This effectively meant that only Zanu PF, MDC-T and MDC-N qualify to get funding from the fiscus.
