MDC-T blast Jonathan Moyo over ZBC insolvency remarks

The MDC-T organising secretary Abednico Bhebhe has lambasted Information Media and Broadcasting Minister Jonathan Moyo over his claims that the Zimbabwe Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC) is insolvent so the government must fund it saying the innocent people must not be made to pay for the broadcaster being abused by the ruling Zanu-PF only.
Bhebhe said now Ministers, Jonathan Moyo and Obert Mpofu want to burden us with more unnecessary debts emanating from Zanu-PF's corruption and mismanagement.
"This is less than a month after Zimbabweans were forced to adopt a controversial US$1.3 billion RBZ debt emanating from the same corrupt Zanu-PF thugs," he said.
"Moyo said the propaganda mouthpiece, ZBC, is insolvent and government should adopt its debt. Mpofu says the same with Air Zimbabwe which is swimming in debt.
How can Zanu-PF expect Zimbabweans to continue shouldering their burden of corruption and mismanagement without channeling the same energy to recover what they corruptly got to build mansions and live Hollywood lifestyles?"
Bhebhe said there is no bigger insult than to expect Zimbabweans to bail out ZBC, with its nauseating programs, propaganda and poor pictures (with showers) and poor sound.
"Who needs ZBC anyway? Why should we breathe life to it to insult our intelligence using the likes of the boring Mahoso and other lunatics with their tired and ridiculous analysis?" he said.
"These state institutions, once the pride of the nation, have been run down by these thugs who failed to submit corporate governance compliance reports during the tenure of the inclusive government to hide the widespread corruption, mismanagement and looting."
Bhebhe said they talk of investors to sink huge monies into a deep hole where they will just steal and steal!!
"These state institutions will never be turned around with resistance to adopting best global practices of corporate governance to ensure transparency and accountability," he said.
"The militarization of the state institutions is also a burden that will continuously weigh down any efforts to resuscitate them. To start with, Mugabe and Zanu-PF thugs must be removed to avert the continuous destruction of parastatals with their 'bush ideas.' We must remove Mugabe's political toxicity and meddling in the running of parastatals."
