A friendly warning to ZSP applicants
30 Oct 2014 at 11:18hrs | Views
We consider beginning with correctly identifying ourselves of significant importance especially to those eligible ZSP applicants who had not yet appropriately heard about us from our many other platforms. ZIM-ID (SA) Team Diaspora is a foreign chapter of the Zimbabwe's Independent Democrats (or ZIM-ID), which is obviously an appropriately and legally constituted public benefit political organisation. However, the ZSP Permits Forum is a flagship initiative which is a network of basically Zimbabwean volunteers who have offered to help in the current ZSP dispensation project for Zimbabweans based in South Africa, but is also inclusive of assistance on other visa or permit-types.
Although most of the volunteers in the ZSP Permits Forum as representatives are also members of ZIM-ID, the network is generally by ordinary Zimbabweans with whom we have comprehensively and independently done our own private security checks with them as ZIM-ID. We are also very particular with our own reputation and recognisable unique brand such that we will not associate with any mediocre platforms or networks, we definitely can't afford to sacrifice our wonderful formation at the altar of disservice to desperate and distressed fellow Zimbabweans. An applicant must feel free to first verify with us the details of any "representative" under our ZSP Permits Forum and associate's names by using contact information provided together with this article.
Having set the record straight, our friendly warning concerns one other critical procedure in the ZSP applications processes. We have been assisting hundreds of fellow Zimbabweans since the renewals application processes went live much to their visible satisfaction, and we even now know the whole system like the back of our own hands. We have decided to issue a warning timeously to all eligible applicants who will start attending interview appointments as from 1st November 2014. We know most applicants might not have taken our previous warning alerts seriously and are now literally waiting for the shock of their lives at the Visa Application Centre!
ZSP applicants must be aware by now that their current online submitted permit application information is editable until hours if not minutes before you fulfil your scheduled interview appointment. This simply means anyone who has access to your matching ZSP Reference number and Passport number can edit your details without your "consent". A worst case scenario is when they also know your scheduled appointment day and time which means they can as well edit your permit details in the online system maybe 30minutes before the actual interview begins with the consultant at the Visa Application Centre.
By the time an applicant gets to the consultant, their details in the downloaded form they are carrying will no longer match those appearing in the online system, and the ZSP applicant will now have some explaining to do which in itself will compromise their application as a default process. It is advisable that the applicants are able to verify if their details have not been changed moments before they submit their application. The criminal elements, enemies and such other dark forces can indeed have a field day and deliberately "fix you" whether for the fun of it or other reasons such as selling the applicant's information to such other commercial networks.
This is one other important reason we have always emphasised on exercising extreme caution by applicants especially the regular use of public internet cafes, bogus agents and ‘friendly enemies'. No applicant is immune to this form of "terrorism" and scam attacks. It will be difficult to track who probably could have edited your permit details without your consent. This will continue to haunt the applicant long after the process has passed, moreso if their final adjudication decision by the Department of Home Affairs (SA) is not a favourable outcome. Mind you, there is "no appeal" to the decision, or a provision for re-application! If your submitted application is refused or rejected you will have to immediately go back to Zimbabwe!
In the case of ZSP Permits Forum as a credible and organised "third party" representative, we can guarantee especially those who engaged us fully from online application to appointment booking that we will be able to confirm with an Sms or Whatsapp message that their details are still "sharp-sharp" even 30minutes before submission of relevant documents on the scheduled appointment date. This will be very possible because we will be having their correct details as completed in our customized application form, and can easily collate the appointments attendees for the day in any Application Centre throughout the country. We also offer to keep tracking their application online, and can even formally collect the decision outcome on their behalf if they still wish to entrust the process with us to such an extent.
When we notice the permit details have been edited we will confirm with the applicant and appropriately update them if necessary. Although we can extend this unique service to all general ZSP applicants, the problem will be the absence of their correct details with us at the time. Even if they were to call us moments before the interview, it will be costly to try and verify all details over the phone. Moreso, you may never know who is listening to your permit application details during the call and what other ulterior motives they may have immediately. Be warned!
This friendly warning has been issued by the ZIM-ID (SA) Team Diaspora in association with ZSP Permits Forum as a "best of luck" wish to all eligible Zimbabwean applicants for a successful application.
