Mthwakazi Republic Party leader Mqondisi Moyo is set to address yet another MRP campaign Rally in Gwanda North precisely at Mtshazo Business center.
Inkunzi Mbizo campaign rallies are gathering momentum as they march towards the 2018 crucial elections and as far as Mthwakazi Restoration Agenda is concerned.
MRP's Matabeleland South provincial executive led by its organising secretary informed the Zimbabwe Republic Police as required by the Law.
"The party's campaign rally which is expected to attract a huge gathering, will be held on the first of July 2017 from 08:00am to 17:00pm. A football tournament that will feature four teams from the area has been planned and is set to start before the address by the President. The party is expected to officially announce Mcebisi Dube, the Matabeleland South provincial secretary for Information and publicity, as the Parliamentary candidate for Gwanda North constituency," the party said in a statement.
"The people's Revolutionary party is aiming at winning all the Seats in Mthwakazi, and is going to campaign vigorously. ZANU PF and the MDC-T have been taking our people for granted for the past years, now we say enough is enough. We now want to be in charge of our forefathers land. We are leaving no stone unturned in our effort to Restore Mthwakazi. Gwanda Central is also planning a massive campaign road show, Nkayi Ntabazinduna, Hwange East, Plumtree and Lupane are some of the constituencies we are targeting soon for the meet the people campaign before a Stanley Square main rally in August."
The party said there is a massive invasion of Gwanda by the Shona speaking people, who are looting our Gold in the area at the expense of locals and they are protected by the police.
"There has been complains by our people that the Zimbabwe Republic Police only targets the locals when ever they raid illegal gold miners, while Shona people are allowed to mine undisturbed. MRP has promised to end the nonsense once and for all. Gwanda town is also struggling as there is a serious water shortage deliberately created by Zinwa," said the party.
"MRP believes its high time Gwanda looks for private investors, and build own dams and boreholes and completely dump the government controlled corrupt Zinwa. Hon Mcebisi Dube said if elected into office will make sure there will be development in the area. All locally available jobs will be for the locals. Efforts are being made to bring on board all the people who are scattered across the globe especially in South Africa to come back home and help develop the Area. Dube said people need schools, clinics and proper road network and no one will ever do it for us ,we just need to stand up and do something, no one will come and solve our problems."
The party said everyone who is 18 years and above in Matabeleland and Midlands is encouraged to register to VOTE Team MRP.
