Four Robbery Suspects Arrested in Beitbridge, Including Juvenile

BEITBRIDGE - Police in Matabeleland South have arrested four suspects, including a 16-year-old juvenile, in connection with a robbery incident that occurred in Mutetengwe Village on October 9, 2025.


According to a statement posted on the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) X account, the suspects - Justin Mleya (21), Efficient Ndou (20), Rendani Ndou (20), and the unnamed juvenile - allegedly attacked a complainant who was walking home from the shops.

"The suspects allegedly sprayed the victim with pepper spray and robbed him of ZAR 800.00 and USD 20.00," the statement read.

Police confirmed the recovery of one canister of pepper spray, two Okapi knives, a torch, and ZAR 150.00 in cash during the arrest.

Investigations are ongoing, and authorities have urged the public to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity.
