Political agent provocateurs have been unleashed, Mthwakazi!

"First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win" - Mahatma Gandhi

The 'mocking you' stage is set to end soon enough, and to give way to the 'fighting you' stage.

In the next coming weeks, months or years, watch as the Gukurahundist and Shonaist Zimbabwe State launches attacks on uMthwakazi, and not against the Rutendo Matinyarares, Linda Maisiris, and Nathaniel Manherus of our time. They will even attack non-Gukurahundist and non-Shonaist Shonas, accusing them generally of being despicable Shona 'liberals', or - of that most serious of this Gukurahundist State's crimes - of being in fact Mthwakazians inside Shona names!

And uMthwakazi, too, will hear the collaborating song of her own dangerous 'liberals' sounding louder and louder as they try to please their Shonaist masters and to show them (their Shonaist and Gukurahundist masters) how they (Mthwakazi 'liberals') are different from 'those other "radical" Ndebeles who call themselves Mthwakazi'. In fact, that has begun; long begun!
The struggle - uMthwakazi's struggle - is now on. There is now no going back now.

And we are all afraid - Mthwakazians and Zimbabweans alike - despite the outward displays of power and courage, both afraid because we contemplate the ghastly when in our own hands we hold the tools and mechanisms that can handle this matter properly and remove the fear. We contemplate war (at least the most mocking of us) and resort to throwing huge verbal boulders and mock and taunt from a very safe distance in the vain hope that we may ward off a Mthwakazi 'threat' and keep it away at a very far distance. It will never work. Shona people - including Shonaists and Gukurahundists - need to be this side of the line to know what it means to be a Mthwakazi, being mocked and taunted for being mass-murdered, underdeveloped, and for being recipients of State power wielded as an axe against you. Then you will know, not just the resolve and determination of Mthwakazi to be free and to recover her statehood, but the sheer pleasure of feeling that determination and resolve.

Bit by bit, drip-drip, the voices of mocking and taunting are blasting louder to fall silent soon again, as Shonaists and Gukurahundists running the Zimbabwe State realize that uMthwakazi's political struggle was never a joke they could mock and taunt out of existence. UMthwakazi's political struggle for freedom has come of us, continues to grow of age, and has now become a fact and a factor in what Gukurahundists and Shonaists long concluded they had made a Shona and Gukurahundist state via theGukurahundi genocide - Zimbabwe! Well, states and statehood is never easily stolen that way! And the Gukurahundi genocide is not the first genocide uMthwakazi has suffered. UMthwakazi is not new to facing adversity out-gunned, out-numbered, out-resourced, and out-drowned out by systems that have always been jittery, afraid, and jealous of uMthwakazi and the Ndebele as gifted statesman and governance rulers.

This Shonaist and Gukurahundist Zimbabwe was therefore never ever going to throw anything new at uMthwakazi that uMthwakazi has not seen before - all the brutality and sadism of Gukurahundi and the 'total strategy' against uMthwakazi, put together, - multiplied with conspiracy, treachery, and child-like vengeance and 'revenge' that saw the swagger of Gukurahundi's deployment in Mthwakaziland. Including the more unspeakable and unrecorded things that came with the Gukurahundi genocide, that Rutendo Matinyarare wants us to now believe he was 'joking' about. We have seen it all before. Therefore, we are here today as Mthwakazi - being mocked and taunted out of existence - not in spite of Gukurahundi, but BECAUSE of Gukurahundi.

And so, it's game on…
As Mthwakazi we will fight a Mthwakazi fight in a Mthwakazi way - to the sweet end!
We will not be coaxed into artificial fights and simulated wars that are intended to soil uMthwakazi cause. We have the discipline and the political pedigree to handle such guerrilla tactics and provocations. And by the way, we never cut anybody's noses or mouth during a war in which we singularly liberated what is now ruled as anti-Mthwakazi and anti-Ndebele Gukurahundist Zimbabwe.

And we will not insult, mock, taunt, or extend wholesale condemnation on all Shonas simply because an anti-Mthwakazi Gukurahundist and Shonaist state is being run on their behalf and in their name - despite orchestrated attempts to make us do so. We will stand by our right and privilege to fight a political war against a political system perpetrating an anti-Ndebele and anti-Mthwakazi rule. But we will not take away the right of individual Mthwakazians to be angry and to express their anger in whatever way they feel - and DEFEND IT - but we will not allow that anger to be part and parcel of uMthwakazi's political struggle in programmatic terms. We will fight like Zapu and Zipra fought, like King Lobengula and King Mzilikazi fought … as a political state entity that knows that with rights come responsibilities. We will be - and are, and will remain - responsible!

And 'Nqo, nqo, nqo … as'navalo!' - to borrow from a recent ANC song, because that song also describes uMthwakazi, from where she started, right through political time, political space, and political circumstance, to where she is today. When we have been afraid - and we have been throughout our history - as we are today - we have been spared, not to drop the assegai, to grasp it and advance, shouting: Ayihlome; bulala abathakathi! As we defended our political sovereignty against foes, internal and external, knowing our fears but determined to overcome them by the heat of battle.

And so, in the same vein today, we say: Ayihlome; bulala abathakathi!, in the full and loud call to arms to our political cause of liberating uMthwakazi from this Zimbabwe and restoring our United Kingdom of Matebeleland.

So when Linda Maisiri, Nathaniel Manheru, Rutendo Matinyarare and others are just the small and visible band of sponsored purveyors of uMthwakazi's hate, we see through them, right back to the recesses of a poisonous anti-Mthwakazi and anti-Ndebele Gukurahundist and Shona state that launched and promoted this anti-Mthwakazi feeling among the Shona in 1980, initially as a divide-and-rule device (as advised by their handholders), but now, as a permanent policy of their misrule. They long lost control of their state-sponsored mischiefmaking and are now virtually presiding over a political ruins whose last rights they are foreshadowing in Masvingo today, as we speak.

And uMthwakazi is right to want to out of such a sad and sorry excuse for a state and a purported nation, for neither 'state' nor 'nation' have ever been attributes you can ascribe to this Shonaist and Gukurahundist and anti-Ndebele Zimbabwe that all Mthwakazians and all normal-minded Shonas want to see the back of, sooner rather than later.

And for all those who have not begun to see it Zimbabwe's own liberation is tied to, and predicated on, uMthwakazi freedom under a restored United Kingdom of Matebeleland! In the meantime, the Linda Maisiris, the Nathaniel Manherus, and the Rutendo Matinyarares of today are not madman or bad jokes they would want us to now believe - or misquoted victims; they are real and serious political agent provocateurs of our time in the service of a politically sinister design.

UMthwakazi must remain vigilant and self-disciplined and see everything through the eye of a post-Mugabe politics! Namely, that this Gukurahundist and Shonaist state wants to see more of the same - more of Gukurahundism and Shonaism post-Mugabe. And that calls for the intensification of uMthwakazi's political struggle, not the advent of hopeful and pious platitudes extolling a Gukurahundist and Shonaist and anti-Mthwakazi Zimbabwe that even the authors of such platitudes do not want themselves - or believe in!
