Dembare gets a bye in 2012 CAF Champions League

Zimbabwe premier soccer champions, Dynamos, got a bye in the first round of the 2012 CAF Champions League group stages after the competition fixtures were released on Saturday. CAF Champions League commences on 17 February 2012.

Dembare will be waiting to play the winner between Mafunzo of Zanzibar and Mozambique's Liga Muçulmana. If Dembare manages to progress beyond Mafunzo or Muculmana, they will have a difficlut task of entertaining most probably

With Dynamos getting a bye because of their top rankings, FC Platinum will start their campaing with an away match to Green Mamba of Swaziland on 17–19 February 2012 and the return leg will be played between 2–4 Mach 2012. Winners between Green Mamba and FC Platinum will face Sudan 's Al-Merreikh between 23–25 March and ths return leg will be played between 6–8 April.
