SA Kwaito star Mandoza born Mduduzi Tshabalala was rushed to Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital after collapsing at his Soweto home early this month, sundayworld.co.za reported.
Two industry insiders told the publication that Mandoza suffered a seizure and spent two days in the intensive care unit (ICU).
He was transferred to a ward on Thursday where he recuperated for a day before being discharged on Friday.
The Nkalankatha hitmaker is now recuperating at his Pimville home under the care of his wife Mpho who confirmed her husband had been ill. "Mandoza is now at home. I'm sick and tired of answering questions from journalists," she said, before hanging up.
One of the industry insiders, who did not want to be named, said they were all worried when he was admitted to hospital again.
"Remember he was admitted about two months ago where he underwent surgery. We will keep him in our prayers and I wish all his fans do the same thing."
Another industry source close to the award-winning musician said he got a shock at the news that Mandoza was in hospital.
"...The person... told me Mandoza suffered a seizure. But I learnt he is out of danger now.
