ZBC to air new reality show 'Cultured'

Female producer, director and actor, Nakai Beauty Tsuro has come up with the first reality television show titled 'Cultured' to be screened on ZBC TV this month.
The show promotes Zimbabwean cultural values and will be the first local television reality show.
According to Tsuro,the reality show is about young vibrant, city born urbanites who have never experienced life in the rural areas and later moved on to villages in Mhondoro/Ngezi to experience the other side of life.
Tsuro said reality television shows are becoming favourites the world over hence the launch of Cultured.
The show endeavours to marry the current lifestyle and the African culture without eroding it.
Seven contestants will take part in the first television reality show.
The show aims to educate young people about Zimbabwe's cultural ways.
Tsuro, who trained as a film producer and director in a number of countries, has also done other productions such as the social drama, 'Think' in 2011, NAMA nominee entry for 2012, 'The Long Night' and Love Like This,' among others.
Meanwhile, ZBC TV Chief Commissioning and Programming Procurement Executive, Davison Chikahadza is urging other local film makers to come up with their productions to be aired on the Zim Movies slot which is a concept to showcase movies and films made by Zimbabweans.
