Welshman Ncube the next Joshua Nkomo

A senior MDC official has likened party president Welshman Ncube to the late Vice President Joshua Nkomo saying the two shared similar characteristics in their political lives.

Robson Makhula, a national executive member in the Ncube led MDC said Ncube was all encompassing like the late nationalist.

"Just like umdala wethu Joshua Nkomo, Ncube recognises every person in Zimbabwe regardless of their tribe," he said.

"Some are well known for preaching that other tribes are more superior than others but Ncube is accommodative to all the tribes and that is evidenced by the composition of his executive and the his stance that every Zimbabwean should be treated as an equal."

Makhula said Ncube had taken a stand against violence," unlike some of these parties that will send youths to assault their relatives and other family members. Such behaviour is not allowed in this party because these are unGodly acts. If you engage in acts of violence God will forsake you."

Another senior member Thandiwe Mlilo called on the Ndebele speaking people to vote Ncube to burst the widely held belief that the people of Matabeleland should be deputies.

"Here is a chance for you, God has given you a chance for aNdebele to be President of this country. Do not disappoint him because besides being ndebele, he is the most qualified person to lead this country," she said.
