Kumbirayi Katsande appointed Old Mutual Zimbabwe board chair

Old Mutual Zimbabwe Limited Board has appointed Kumbirayi Katsande as its Board Chairperson with effect from January 28 this year.
Katsande, a seasoned and renowned business practitioner in Zimbabwe has led several businesses at the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer level.
He takes over from Namibian Jonathan !Gawaxab.
Katsande is Deputy Chairperson of the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe and a member of the Monetary Policy Committee.
He was also Chairman and Managing Director of Nestle Zimbabwe from 2010 until his retirement in 2014, having held different positions within Nestle since 1992.
His career is punctuated by stints as the Chief Operating Officer of PG Industries from 1998 to 2003 and the Managing Director of Ariston Limited from 2003 to 2010.
Katsande has been the President of the Confederation of Zimbabwe Industries on five occasions.
