ENTUMBANE residents have hailed Zanu PF candidate for Entumbane / Njube, Linda Chinamano, the daughter of the late former Zapu Vice President Josiah Chinamano for making several developments in the constituency even before she was elected into office.
Chinamano is battling it out with Citizens Coalition for Change candidates Prince Dube and Dingilizwe Tshuma current MDC MP for the constituency who are seen as double candidates.
One of the residents and former Zipra ex combatant Max Mkandla said people of Entumbane must not let the constituency down by not voting for the Chinamano.
"We have seen the shortcomings of current MP Tshuma on the Constituency Development Funds and service delivery. We witnessed the shortcomings and dishonest of previous councillor and aspiring CCC candidate Dube he abused the library stand and turned it into car park when he is benefiting and renting out to other people instead of developing it," Mkandla said.
Mkandla said how is Dube aspiring to be an MP when he did not account for the ward retention funds that he was given to develop the ward when he was councilor.
He said also the current MP Tshuma has never told them where he used the devolution funds during his term that ended tomorrow.
"We urge the residents not to vote for such people. People must vote for Chinamano she is young and hard working. Within the shortest time she was declared candidate she has drilled borehioles and people are now drawing water from them close to their residence. They will also be able to do gardening since they have water around. So lets rally behind her so that she do more for us," Mkandla said.
