Police raid Paddonhurst home, arrest trio over unregistered drugs

Police in Bulawayo have arrested three men for possession of illegal drugs and unregistered medicines.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police announced the arrests via their X account, stating that the operation was carried out on 15 January.
“On 15 January, detectives from CID Drugs and Narcotics, Bulawayo acted on information received and arrested Tafadzwa Jameson (30), Samuel Tamboonei (37) and Similo Hlongwane (44) at a house along Dillion Road, Paddonhurst, in connection with possession of unregistered medicines comprising Phenorant Cough Relief, Broncleer Cough Syrup, Benylin Cough Syrup, Stilpane Cough Syrup, Painagon Cough Syrup and Astra Pain Cough Syrup,” police said.
The trio are now appearing in court in Bulawayo.
