Law firm messenger to represent MDC-T in harmonised elections

Former Phulu, Ncube and Partners messenger is set to contest in the harmonised elections after winning the ticket to represent the Movement for Democratic Change led by Prime Minister Morgan Tsvangirai.
The law firm has produced two contestants for the coming 2013 harmonised elections.
Of the two senior partners, Matshobana Ncube a lawyer by training will represent the Welshman Ncube led MDC.
Another partner, Mr Kucaca Phulu, who is an MDC-T member was tipped to contest for MDC-T but was eventually sidelined.
Former Phulu Ncube and Partners messenger, Mr Bekithemba Nyathi, won the widely disputed primary election to represent Mpopoma-Pelandaba. He took over from former postman, Mr Samuel Sandla Khumalo, who has since refused to concede defeat and will stand as an independent candidate.
Nyathi was working at a the leading city law firm until a few weeks ago when he won the MDC-T primaries. Nyathi says he now considered himself a "messenger for the people."
