'Sleeping' AFM elder rams into stationary commuter omnibus, 3 people injured

Sleeping Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe (AFM) elder crashed into a stationary commuter omnibus and injured three people on Wednesday morning at Hwenji farm in Concession Mashonaland Central province.
It is alleged AFM elder at Mvurwi assembly identified as Magombedze was coming from Mbare to Mvurwi with a lorry belonging to Ishmael Muzinda who is also an AFM congregant.
Magombedze slept whist driving due to fatigue around 4am and crashed on a stationary Harare bound kombi there by injuring the kombi driver and his conductor who were fixing a tyre puncture.
The impact was too much hence Magombedze broke his hand and fractured legs in the process.
The kombi operators were ferried to Howard hospital for x-rays but have since been discharged.
Disturbed AFM leader identified as Chizinga called for devine deliverance after the accident as he prayed on the scene a move blasted by witnesses.
"How can this man of God pray after the accident pane zvimwe zvisingade church dai vanamata kuti tsaona isaitike not to pray afterwards," said the source.
According to police road accidents in Mashonaland Central are on the decrease and many road blocks have been called for by Home Affairs minister Ignitious Chombo this festive season to avert road accidents.
